Leaders North West slipped up at home to Killea when playing their game in hand on CYMS. Joe Devine and Gerry McKeever won two-nil for the home side but Robert Brown and Brian Woodrow replied for the visitors to give some hope to CYMS who trail by two points with only three games remaining. North West's game in Donegal Town next week will probably be the decider and CYMS must hope that Donegal or either Twin Towns Aor B do them a favour.

Donegal Town's also slipped up at home to Twin Towns B. The two debutants on the home team, Nicholas Culloo and Gary Spencer did well but just failed to win their matches against Mark Bell and Michael Chambers respectively. Tom Plunkett and Paul Thomas made certain of at least a draw by winning their tussles two nil. Donegal remain in third position.

Convoy A and Ramelton A also drew two apiece in Convoy. Willie Breen and Justin Lynch put the home team on the road to victory but Mark Friel and Philip Friel ensured that Ramelton would leave with a share of the spoils.

Twin Towns B and Convoy B provided the fourth draw of the night in Ballybofey. Jack McGranaghan's young team couldn't quite get the better of a fast improving Convoy side.

The final match saw the only victory of the night when a young North West B came back from Rameton B with a four nil win. Winners on the night were Johnny Connors, veteran John Doherty, Richard Gerrity and Michael O'Hara.

Donegal Town were hammered 4-0 at home by a strong North West outfit in the final Donegal Junior League match. Michael O'Hara won 2-0 against Ciaran O'Reilly, Paul McCauley defeated Nicholas Culloo 2-1, Richard Gerrity beat Conor Browne 2-0 and Johnny Connors won the overall Player of the Year title by defeating Niall Gillespie in two close frames. Congratulations to the Letterkenny men who finished the season in great form. Twin Towns finished in second place and Mick DeBhaird can feel very pleased with the showing of his youngsters this season. Donegal were adrift in third spot while Convoy battled well all through the season and will probably be a stronger force next season.
