Week two of the Donegal Snooker League saw wins for CYMS, Donegal Town and Twin Towns A.

The CYMS enjoyed a four nil win in Ramelton against the B side while Twin Towns joined them at the top of the table by defeating North West B three one.

Donegal won their opening fixture against Ramelton A three one with the highlight being an 84 break by Charlie Murphy. A missed brown cost him his third century of the year but while he is in this form, another tonne must surely be just around the corner.

Killea drew 2-2 at home to Convoy A with Gerard Lennon in fine form. Breaks of 30 and 32 enabled him to see off the challenge of the experienced Darren Ponsonby. In the final fixture Convoy B picked up their second point of the campaign in drawing with Twin Towns B.

So after two rounds Twin Towns A and CYMS lead with 6 points while defending champions North West A, Donegal and Ramelton A have three points. The two Convoys are on two points, Killea and Twin Towns B have one apiece and Ramelton B and North West B have still to put a point on the board.

In the player of the year competition Christie Murray, Christopher Gibbons and Gavin Toner lead the way with perfect records...two wins, four frames, no losses.
