Week three of the County Donegal Snooker League saw wins for Donegal Town, CYMS, Convoy A and North West A.

Donegal Town won their second Donegal League match four nil against a plucky Ramelton B side. Winners on the night were Oliver Plunkett, Charlie Murphy, Michael Neary and Paul Thomas. Charlie's cueing was awesome and, with an 83 and an 84 behind him already this season, the future is bright for the nineteen year old.

CYMS took over at the top thanks to an excellent four nil win over Convoy B in Convoy. Star of the show was Phelim McClafferty who compiled an excellent break of 78 en route to a two nil win over Jason Kelly. Previously unbeaten Gavin Toner lost two nil to Christopher Gibbons and Anthony Duffy and Paddy McGroarty wrapped up the scoring for the Letterkenny men.

North West A kept up their 100% record at home to Twin Towns B. Winners on the night were Gerry McCloskey, Gerry McKeever, Joe Devine and the mercurial Johnny Whyte who had a break of 69 in defeating Gearóid McCafferty. This is Johnny's second break over 50 since he compiled a superb break of 110 two weeks ago.

Performance of the week was the defeat of fancied Twin Towns A by Convoy A in Ballybofey. The underdogs pulled out a three one victory which sets them up nicely for the season ahead.
