Donegal maintained their unbeaten home record with a fine three-one win over Killea. Star of the show was veteran Paul Thomas who took the scalp of Robert Brown in a pulsating encounter. On another night Gerard Lennon's comeback against Michael Neary would have garnered the plaudits, but Paul's contribution to the home team was the superlative. Oliver Plunkett needed to dig deep to defeat Shane Grant in three frames, while neither Tom Plunkett nor Brian Woodrow got going in Tom's two-nil victory.

Donegal again lost four two to Pot Black of Derry. In a repeat of the match-ups of a week ago, Tom Plunkett and brother Oliver salvaged draws from their matches but Michael Neary met Kevin Sala who was in deadly form and the Derryman triumphed two nil. Tom's break of 53 should have lead to a much-needed victory but his erratic form of late returned in the second frame and he was soundly beaten.

Donegal won their fourth Junior League match four nil away to Convoy. Conor Browne, Mark Mulhern and Nicholas Culloo all won two nil but Ciaran O'Reilly was made to dig deep in his game, coming from 30 odd behind in his final frame to win against Seamus Sweeney. Donegal lie second behind Twin Towns.

Players in the Paddy Kelly Cup, Coulter Cup and Sean McCafferty Cup are urged to play their matches promptly to ensure the smooth running of the tournaments.
