The AGM of the Snooker Club itself was always held on a Sunday afternoon at 2.30 p.m. or thereabouts. The club was well served by committees down the years and all those who contributed to the running of the club deserve credit. Sadly their names were not preserved for posterity and only fragmented memories remain. Several men served for substantial periods, often in different roles. The three main positions were that of Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. Among the men who filled these posts were Jim Thomas, Michael Hunt, John Hanna, Tom Caldwell, Hugh Hilley, Peter McGinty, Vincent Granaghan, Jackie McMullin, Sean McCauley, Packie Hanna, Seamus Faulkner, Kieran Mullin, Harry Stewart, Joe Kelly, Tom Plunkett, Tommy McCormack, Michael McIntyre, Jack Keeney and Paul Keeney. There were many others who did likewise (including the present incumbents Martin Mulhern, Kieran Temple and Patsy McNulty) but it is impossible to be definitive about the exact list over a fifty-year period as so little has survived on paper. Many people were stalwart supporters of the club through the years and never served on a committee. These loyal clubmen were often called upon to do work in the club or fundraise. Without them the club would not be around today.
