TRAFFIC MADNESS

Is there any end in sight to the traffic situation on donnybrook hill on school mornings, I have to go back towards Carrigaline to go to douglas! If that makes any sense!!!! The only way to avoid the traffic jam is to go up donnybrook hill, across the road to the main Carrigaline road and down the Carrigaline road to Douglas. This in itself is not too much of an inconvenience, but its only a matter of time before this route becomes popular, which, judging by the amount of cars heading up the hill at the moment people already know this route!!!
I also see a lot of cars with one child, why don’t people car pool, it does make a lot of sense, think about it, 4 kids in one car, that's 4 less cars on the road, some people are probably already doing it, but from what I can see not a lot. Judging by the amount of houses going up around the Donnybrook / Grange / Frankfield area it's going to get a lot worse.
I think its time to dust off the ‘auld push bike ...
