History.
In this section we're going to cover a little of the history
of 'Drift Inn' from when it was an LLSR Railway station
to present day.

To the right we have Buncrana station in 1948,
complete with period car.
The photographer, H C Casserley, was standing with his back
towards the level crossing where the line to Carndonagh crossed
the road and headed northwards. |

To the left we have a photograph of a train
pulling into Buncrana station.
If the trains still ran today, this would be the exact view
you would see from the platform part of Shunters Restaurant
at 'Drift Inn'. |

Above we have the railway station as it stands
today, 'Drift Inn'. The building has been practically untouched
from this side angle, proudly proclaiming "established 1863".
