jBy Air: Within
close proximity of the Blackwater valley are the Cork, Kerry,
and Shannon airports, operating direct scheduled services from:
Manchester, Bristol, Plymouth, Birmingham, Belfast, Paris, Frankfurt,
London (Heathrow, Gatwick, Standsted and Luton), New York, Boston,
Atlanta, Dublin and Belfast.
T By Sea: Overseas
visitors can travel by ferry using Ringaskiddy in Cork, Rosslare,
Dun Laoghaire or Dublin City Center ports. There are a number
of scheduled ferry services from Swansea, Rosscoff, Le Havre,
Pembroke, Fishguard and Holyhead.
tBy Train: There
are railway stations in Mallow and Banteer making it easily accessible
from Dublin, Cork and all other major towns and cities throughout
the country.
vBy Road:
- Directions from Dublin: Take the N7 road following
the signs for Cork and Limerick. Take the N8 road as far as
Mitchelstown. At Mitchelstown turn right onto the N73 for Mallow.
On approaching Mallow, follow the flow of traffic and take right
turn before bridge. Follow signs for N72 Killarney. Take the
second exit off the roundabout for the N72. Drive for approx.
10 miles (17 km) on the N72. The Duhallow Park can be seen on
the right-hand side of the road.
- Directions from Cork: Take the N20 road towards Limerick
and Mallow. Continue for approx 20 miles (32km). On approaching
Mallow roundabout, take the first exit for the N72. Drive for
approx. 10 miles (17 km) on the N72. The Duhallow Park can be
seen on the right-hand side of the road.
- Directions from Limerick: Take the N20/N21 for Cork
and Kerry. Follow the signposts for N20 Cork/Mallow. On approaching
Mallow go through the first roundabout and at the next one
take the third exit for the N72. Drive for approx. 10 miles (17
km) on the N72. The Duhallow Park can be seen on the right-hand
side of the road
