Kelvin Hughes ecdis Chart Display

The Ecdis has been developed to provide the navigator with a highly accurate, flexible and fully proved alternative to the traditional paper charts that will interface and network with ship's sensors and systems including radar.

To meet the IMO SOLAS Carriage requirements the Nucleus 2 Ecdis will use Hydrographic Office approved Electronic Chart Data (ENC). In addition it will also display official Raster Nacvigation Charts (RNC).

Features Include;

• 'Multi-fuelled' ENC and raster capabiltiy including ARCS NOAA\BSB
  
  

• Graphic overlay includes ownship symbol, route and waypoints.
  
  

• North-Up, Course-Up and Head-Up ENC chart presentation.
  
  

• Uses Interlay techniques to avoid obscuring essential charted information.
  
  

• Radar target echos, vectors and true trails are shown on the electronic chart with ARPA interlay.
