Kelvin Hughes nucleus 2 5000 Radar Display

The Nucleus 2 5000 radar has been designed specificaly to meet the growing demand for a small professional radar that conforms with the IMO requirments that have come into effect this year.

Developed from the highly successful Nucleus 2 6000 system, the 5000 incorprates all the features if the 6000 including automatic tracking of up to 50 targets (ARPA).

The system is available in desk-mounted or deck-mounted options with integraal or remote pod control facilities.

The 5000 display is available in a number of configurations that include ARPA, ATA, True and Relative motion. These can be connected to various X and S band transceivers, including the 40 rpm 25kWX band antenna.

• A comprehensive range of both upmast and downmast, X-band and S-band transceives is available.
  
  

• The Nucleus 2 is capable of interfacing with other manufacturers' radar and navigation systems.
