SGB 1000B

The SG Brown 100B Gyro compass is IMO 424 (XI) approved and has been designed to suit any type or size of vessel. The unique gimbal system ensures a steady and reliable heading whatever the sea conditions.

Over 75 years of gyro manufacturing experience has gone into developing a "routine maintenance" free unit that has a 50 000 hour MTBF.

Including other benefits such as simple installation, choice of operating voltages (24V as standard with an optional 115V/230V converter) and a large range of repeater accessories, we believe that the SGB 1000B is the most versatile and robust unit available.

SGB 1000S

The SGB 1000S is the offshore survey gyro standard. This feature-packed unit has been designed to the highest specifications, providing up to 9 analogue and digital outputs with an option for a further 8.

It has a digital display that shows either heading or log information and our unique gymbal system ensures a steady and reliable heading whatever the sea conditions.

The gyro element is a sealed unit which negates the need for routine maintenance.

We supply the SGB 1000S with it's own carrying case to ensure safe transportation.
