Here Is The History Of The Dusk Band
The band started in the summer of 1999. Emmett Burke the bass player and Michael
mc Govern the lead singer and guitarist decided to set up a band. They then
recruited Steven mc Kenna on drums. They played their first ever gig supporting Paraffin
in the May Flower Drumshanbo. After this gig Steven had to make a
tuff decision and leave the band. With the loss of Steven Dusk's
next challenge was to get a new drummer and that they did. They got the 10 year
old sensation by the name of Martin Raftery. Along with recruiting Martin they
also recruited a lead guitarist by the name of Joshua Rudel but after a short
spell Joshua decided to leave dusk to pursue a one man band career. And this
brings us up to the present day. Dusk's short but interesting history to date
has being full of up and down's, up and down's the people involved will remember
for a long long time.
