- Kilcock has been nominated in the AIMS 'Best Show' category. Results
will be announced in mid June.
- Evelyn Donnelly will hold a dance workshop on
Thursday 19th January in Scoil Dara Kilcock at 8pm
The workshop is open to everyone and the dances
taught during the workshop will form the basis of
the dance auditions for our forthcoming musical

These dance auditions will be held on
Sunday 22nd January in St. Josephs Hall at 3pm.
The following parts will also be auditioned:

range from 5 to 17 - both boys and girls)

- KMDS will stage the world renowned 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' (Dale Wasserman, adapted from the novel by Ken Kesey) from
13-15 October 2005 with a preview on 12th October
2005 (please note new dates).
An American-Indian, whom the authorities believe is deaf and dumb, tells the story of a mental institution ruled by Big Nurse on behalf of the all-powerful Combine. Into this terrifying world comes McMurphy, a brawling gambling man, who wages total war on behalf of his cowed fellow inmates. What follows is at once hilarious and heroic, tragic and ultimately liberating.

2006 sees Carol's return to Panto after a number of very successful years in the directors chair for KMDS plays.
This will be Helen's second year as MD and Melissa returns as Choreographer for her third
Panto.
No doubt another successful production is in the pipeline for KMDS.

Most of you may all know at this stage, but just in case, "Me and My Friend", was a huge success at the All Ireland Final last weekend in Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim.
Kilcock M&D Society were awarded 2nd place overall in the confined section, which really is a credit to the hard work and dedication of the cast and crew who participated.

Waterford Festival of Light Opera.
The performance date is Tuesday, September 30th at 8pm.

We would advise NOT booking tickets for the Upper Circle as the view here is EXTREMELY
restricted.
The closing date for bookings AND MONEY is Friday July
25th 2003. Any bookings received after this date will NOT receive

- What a weekend we have had!! At the awards banquet on Saturday 14th of
June, Kilcock picked up SIX AIMS awards, including the prestigious
Best Overall Show award, for our production of Sweeney Todd.
What a huge achievement for a small society like ours. Massive
congratulations to all who were involved in the show in whatever capacity -
we are all winners! YAHOOOOO!

in the AIMS Awards this year!!! What a great bonus to a great

- Exciting News!!! No Rest for
the Wicked it seems! Kilcock have been accepted to bring Sweeney Todd to the
Waterford International Festival of Light Opera. The performance date is Tuesday

- Well, Sweeney Todd has finished it's run and what a success it was! A huge
congratulations to everyone involved in what was a really fantastic show.

Saturday Nov 10th. It was very well received by the large crowds that

'One for the Road' posted. After directing last years very successful Panto,
Carol Ryan will direct this, her first play. Good luck to her also.
- The pantomime this

- It was a great few days but all good things come to an end. Cinderella
played to packed houses and was a great success and great fun. Well done to all who were involved.
- Cinderella opened last night to a packed house that really enjoyed the
show. It looks good for
a successful run.
