In addition, there are clean empty beaches and majestic mountains and fabulous bays to feast upon.

But natural sights are not the only delight. There are world-class art and craft galleries, stone circles, ancient ruins, museums, gardens (like the Italian garden on Garinish Island), great traditional shopping, golfing, fishing and eating in towns such as Kenmare, Castletownbere, Glengarriff and Bantry, and historical monuments such as the uniquely situated, and beautifully maintained, Bantry House.
