I get up at 8:00 am on school mornings and hop the alarm off the wall, because it annoys me. I have a shower and I get dressed for school. My uniform is a blue polo neck and a navy jumper and trousers. Then I have my breakfast and then I cycle to school.I get to school about 9:00.am. Then I play a game of football until the bell rings at 9:15 am. We line up and then our teacher calls us into class.
Then we say our prayers and then we do a little bit of Irish. I do not like doing Irish because it is boring. We do not speak it outside school.But every Monday we write Our News about what we did over the weekend.
After little break we do Maths until 11:30 am.We all get a go on
the computer for maths.We have a program for the Acorn called mathsbook.We get twenty sums
and we print out the results for the teacher to look at. this tells him if we need extra
help or not. We have to mark our names off on the chart.We then do religion til 12:00pm
Then some boys go to Mrs Hayes for help with their reading until 12:30am . The we have ourlunch. I go home for lunch but I have to be back for 1.10pm. Then we do some History. We are on the computer or Irish Travellers :then we do some hand writing. We do Activity book, which is part of our English programme. We do some geography on the computer. We have a programme which ask us the towns or rivers of Ireland.
We have four computers and we have an internet box in every class.
Only one computer in our class has a modem for the internet. Without it the internet would
not work. On the internet we can look
up stuff like sport and movies. We can
send e-mails to our new friends in Galesburg Illinois, USA. Over hear we finish school at 3:00pm We are five hours a
head of our friends in America so when we are finished school,it is 11:ooam over there
