The oddball among Morpheus' crew. Cypher is highly sarcastic and disgruntled, and seems not to be happy fighting on the humans side...

The malicious computer 'Agent', whose job it is to crackdown on Morpheus and his people, and ultimately obtain the 'key' to Zion, the last human city, so that the last remains of mankind may be conquered.
