Computer hacker Thomas "Neo" Anderson is contacted by a man known as Morpheus,
who shows him that the entire world is nothing more than a simulation of the year 1999.
In reality, the date is 200 years later, and machines rule the earth, harvesting humans
as an energy source. Morpheus believes that Neo is 'the one' - a man who will lead the
resistance against the machines and reclaim the earth.
