EchoVoiceIdents is a simple to use Windows XP utility that allows the Sysop/Owner of a Repeater or Link to send Information to their RF users. Idea by Nidge G0WFS.An audio file .wav or .mp3 high or low quality of any length can be sent as a beacon or at a pre determined day and time. The file can be called by DTMF. Ideal for those that do not have TTS speech installed but still wishes to send out a beacon to there users. Independent control of the volume level of the file playing which does not effect the volume settings of your node. Initial Setup Download the EchoVoiceIdents.zip software into a directory unzip the software and run the setup program. The program uses an installer. Load File Click on the Load File button to select the audio file to be played. the player will play most audio formats (wav - mp2 - mp3 - avi ) Day and time The day or days and time can be selected. Timed Beacon The file can be sent using the beacon function. When ticked and the appropriate time entered in minutes the file will be played at the end of the countdown. Volume The volume can be adjusted of the file playing. The value you set will not effect the audio levels that you have set for you node DTMF Set the DTMF code that you wish your users to use and play the file. CW Ident callsign Enter your node callsign and the time in minutes. If selected the cw ident will be sent out even if the file is playing. Set node status If selected the you can suppress the file from being played when the node is in use. Donations are always welcome to help with the upkeep and advancement of the Repeaters & Software
