wav Converter is a simple Utility that will allow you to convert typed text
and convert it into a wav file that can be saved. It uses the Windows XP Microsoft Speech engine.
I made
the program as a tool when making the EchoWavClock and found it so useful
for other applications that I have put together for EchoLink. Saves in
22k 16 bit mono.
Initial Setup
Download the TextToWav.zip software into
a directory unzip the software (1 file) and run. There is no installing the
software simply put the file anywhere and run it ( Mine is on the desktop )
So how Do I use it
Simply type
your text into the text box and press the Speak button and if you like what you
hear simply tick the save to .wav box and click the speak button. You are then
given the opportunity to select a directory and and file name to save the wav
file
