There was another great attendance on the Sunday cycle followed by a good attendance at Monday night's club meeting. The start of the away tours takes place this Sunday the 28th of April at 10.00 AM in Dungannon.
The event is the called Pedal Power in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care with an entry fee of €10.00. Those feeling fit can cycle down parting at 8.30 AM sharp. Those driving to the event should be leaving Emyvale at 9.00 a.m.

The club will host its first weekend away to Killybegs on the l2th of May for two days cycling. Any one interested can contact Barry on 047-86100 or
Jerry on 047 72672 for details. Deposits are being collected from any one who is keen to take part. This weekend promises to be an enjoyable event for all who take part, as well as being a good opportunity to get some training in
for the Border Trek which takes place on the 22nd and 23rd of June.

The continuing Tuesday and Thursday night spins which leave Emyvale
at 6 45 p.m. are a perfect opportunity for new members to join and take part in low distance leisure spins.

Ireland Selection

Connor Murphy has been selected to ride the Shay Elliot Memorial race the biggest one day race in the cycling calender. Connor has had a string of good
results in the last month with 4 top 5 positions and a 7th in the Stamullen GP last
week end where there was 2 pros in the top 3. This consistency has been rewarded by his Irish selection
the club would like to wish Connor the best
of luck in U.C.I. ranked international race with teams also coming from England and Holland.

Stamullen Junior Race:
Paul Brady in just his 4th race as a Junior finished 2nd in the junior event in Stamullen and if he keeps going the way he is going it will not be long before Emyvale CC will have 2 members on Ireland teams. Keep up the good work Paul.
