Sept ‘06 Environmental review by Green School Committee. A lot of 5^th and 6^th class students went litter picking.	October ‘06 Fruit Trees planted Cherry Plum apple and Pear trees planted in designated area as school orchard.	November ‘06 Our plans to plant bulbs. Tree seeds collected and planted in Milk cartons Healthy Lunches policy revised
December ‘06 Recycling for christmas discussion on all classes. Operation Christmas Child Shoe boxes filled with new and used toys by all children All shoeboxes going to Mozambique this year.	January ‘07 Disposal of Christmas tree Litter picking session around school grounds Continue Energy savin Plan : check weekly to see all light and taps are switched off.	February ‘07 Storage of recycled materials for use in Art and Science. 5^th 6^th class planted pumpkin and water melon seeds.
March ‘07 Dig garden and plant more flowers Make flowerbed at entrance to match existing ones Review heating requirements General garden tidy up Participation in Greenwave Project 07	April ‘07 Mobile phones recycling in aid of the Jack and Jill foundation. Registered with Tidy towns Schools Committee Visited to the Seashore linked with An Post art and creative writing project.	May ‘07 Started using refillable ink cartridges for printers Sent away used cartridges in aid of Multiple Sclerosis society Grass cutting organised.
June ‘07 Energy Review and Assessment by Green School Committee.
We continued with our Green School Policy this year and as you can see we had a really busy year. We hope to continue next year and apply to retain our Green school Flag Status.
