 Situated in the heart of the Royal County of Meath on the R164 – three miles from the Heritage town of Kells (Ceannanas Mor) , four miles from Athboy and just one hours drive from Dublin, this is the ideal base for touring the Royal County.    

Faughan View takes its name from the ancient burial site of Niall of the Nine Hostages at Faughan Hill which is just a 5 minute drive away, and is clearly visiable from the house. This is the site of the famous Battle of Ocha dating to 482 AD and standing at 366 feet in height is regarded as a relatively high hill set amongst the flat plains of Co. Meath.

The accommodation comprises of spacious ensuite rooms complete with power showers, orthapedic beds, thermostatically controlled central heating, multi-channel TV & tea / coffee facilities with a hospitality tray & hairdryers in all rooms. Fluffy towels and scented showercream or soap are provided for all guests. Secure private parking is available to all our guests as is a babysitter or taxi service if required. Laundry facilities are available to guests staying a week or more.
