The Boundary Commission
The main names were Eoin MacNeill, J.R. Fisher and Richard
Feetham.
They had to decide: 1. Whether to redraw the border or make small
changes to it.
2.
Whether “the wishes of the people” or
“economic and geographical factors” were
more important.
Feetham felt that economic conditions were more important.
MacNeill does not seem to have objected nor did he keep Cosgrave
informed.
