I Now Regret
Lorcan Kearns

I now regret
My first cigarette.
I used to huff,
I used  to puff.

My wife would give me a poke,
And with the cigarette I'd nearly choke.
I thouht it was cool,
But now I'm a fool.
It wasn't funny
To waste my money.
My child was a passive smoker;
Now he's a croaker.

If I stopped
I'd bring him on holidays,
And buy a new car,
And love  not to see that ugly tar.
