The Award Ceremony in Carnaun

supreme Arts Award trophy.
This magnificent trophy
by Behan depicts a traditional fishing boat - "The Galway Hooker"
or the "Bád Mór.
The "Leath Bháid"
(half boat) was the smaller version.
Both were very popular in
Galway Bay in olden times.

and Mico with the trophy!
