Butterflies
We launched this project with a field trip to the Bog Wood in Castle Ellen 28.09.2000.
Francie, our caretaker with Barry, Séamus and Martin in the Bog Wood.
The day was windy and cool so we didn't see any butterflies. However we had great fun. We had a species competition to see who could inentify and record the most species of plant life in 30 minutes.
With the new memory card for the digital camera (capacity 144 average size pictures ) we put 82 photos on a slide show when we came back to school.
