Our Bird Window - Michelle
If our aim was to create a habitat for birds we have done this!
We started by putting out food for the birds in the winter and now we have many coming to our window every day during the cold weather. We also planted berried plants for food and cover for them. With lots of shrubs and trees and creepers they have plenty of food and a safe place to hatch our their young. We hope they will use the new Bird Boxes next Spring.

The following pictures of birds seen in the schoolyard, scanned from old calendars, wallcharts and schoolbooks, will hopefully be replaced with photos taken from our own 'bird window' while we record their visits during the coming winter months.
