CARNAUN NATIONAL SCHOOL   Our Heritage Mural - 2000 years of Carnaun     The Carnaun Landscape - The Physcial Evidence! - Not to be ignored! The two Taras let us follow the red story line which brings us through small fields, in which cattle and sheep graze peacefully. These "Fields of Athenry" are surrounded by the famous Galway double and single stone  walls. The school's vegetable garden, bottom left is in contrast with the old famine ridges to their right.
