CARNAUN
NATIONAL SCHOOL![]() My teachers are Finbarr and Mrs. Burns. The students in this school number about fifty. My Mum and Dad work every day. They work in a local factory. Mum works in the Irish factory and Dad is the manager of the one in the Philippines Every evening I help Mum clean the house and put away all the plates into the right place. Afterwards I do my homework. I do Maths, Irish and English. Finbarr, my teacher, says I am very good at my lessons. After my homework I help Mum fold the clothes. I like helping my Mum. Every morning I have eggs and milk. That’s my favourite breakfast. I have rice and chicken for my dinner. Irish people like bacon and cabbage. I love Friday evenings because we have a free weekend. On Saturday I get up really early because we go shopping to Dunne’s stores in Galway city. Here we buy clothes and groceries. Later we go to a fast food outlet called Supermacs to have our lunch. I eat chips and chicken. After that we go to shop street to go to a book store called Easons because my brother Mico buys his phrase books. I like Galway City. Because he wants to be really good at languages. Next we go home and have our dinner. On Sunday morning I serve Mass in Athenry church and then I go to Galway and go to Mass there also. This is my best day. On Monday morning its back to school again. Click on any of the boxes below to see what we get up to during the week in Carnaun.
