CARNAUN NATIONAL SCHOOL    The Carnaun Stone The Carnaun Stone marks the Townland of Carnaun and can be seen about 300 metres from the school where the Athenry Road meets the road into Carnaun Village. This project entailed finding the stone, getting it on the site, gathering the money and getting the name inscribed.    Project Leader: Marion Fahy 6th.
