Growing up in a New Europe "Growing up in a New Europe" A Comenius Schools Partnership project funded by the EU under the Socrates Action  Meeting Ysgol Glan Conwy, Wales October 2007  23.10.2007 Ysgol Glan Conwy recently recieved the International School Award 2007 Congratulations!!! The scheme is funded by the DCSF and managed by the British Council. It is open to all schools in the UK and is also operating in India and Sri Lanka. The Awards were presented in London on 10 October by the BBC broadcaster George Alagiah. Putting the World into World-Class Education,   An international strategy for education, skills and children's services. The strategy for schools focuses on one goal : To equip children and young people for life in a global society and work in a global economy. Yes! This is Wales - We have arrived!
