CARNAUN NATIONAL SCHOOL May - June 2001 We sent our Mascot, Larry the Irish Leprechaun, to visit our friends in Glade Creek Elimentary School, North Carolina and their friend, Buzz the Blueridge Mountain Bumble Bee came to visit us in Carnaun School.

Larry normally lives on Carnaun Hilltop Fort - has been there for 2000
years or more and seldom ventures out into the great big world. His last
trip to North Carolina was in the Time of Cromwill when he travelled there
in a slave ship which saled from Inisbifin off the coast of Galway.
