CARNAUN NATIONAL SCHOOL Peakroe is a safe place in which to live. I live in Peakroe. My school
is about two miles away. It is a safe place in which to live. I am allowed
to cycle to my friend's house or visit my Granny in the evenings. Our road
is relatively safe compared to others. I can ramble through open fields
where wild grasses and flowers grow, while Sheep and Cattle graze peacefully.
All along the hedgerows I can pick and eat juicy Blackberries, Haws and
Sloes. There are a great variety of birds to be seen such as blackbirds,
robins, greenfinches, blue tits and many more. All my neighbours know me
and I them. They're great friends. While Peakroe is a safe place to live,
I must be careful, not talk to strangers and obey the rules of the road.
