- Anne - was educated in the Convent of Mercy, Ballymahon. She worked for a short time as a Library Assistant in Dun Laoghaire and then joined the Civil Service. When she retired in 1985 she held the rank of Higher Executive Officer in the Dept. of Defence.
- PATRICK FRANCIS (PADDY) - born 25/9/1927. Paddy suffered a stroke at home while viewing television on 7/7/1998. He died ten days later on Friday, 17/7/1998 in Our Lady's Hospital, Navan, Co. Meath - aged 70 years. He was interred in Dean's Grange Cemetery, Dublin (St. Patrick's section) on Monday, 20/7/1998.
In his youth Paddy was a keen sportsman and represented St. Mel's College, Longford in Gaelic football. He won Leinster Championship medals at Junior and Senior level.

Married MARY BRIGID (MOLLIE) HAYDEN in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow on 3/2/1954. The celebrant was Fr. P. J. Brophy. They raised 5 children:-

- Moira - was educated in the Convent of Mercy, Ballymahon. She trained as a Student Nurse at first in England and subsequently in Mercers Hospital, Dublin. She became a State Registered Nurse and then married Christopher Roche on 24/9/1952 with whom she reaised a family of 9 children in Ballymahon:-
John, Frank, Jim, Kevin, twins, Joe and Gerard, Siobhan, Marie and Grainne.
Moira died on 8/1/2003 and is buried in Ballymahon.
- Catherine (Kay) - was educated in the Convent of Mercy in Ballymahon. She worked as an office assistant in Brown Thomas Ltd., Dublin, and subsequently in the Civil Service until she resigned in 1952 and emigrated to the U.S.A. She worked there for three years in the insurance business before returning to Britain where she was employed as a Bank Clerk. Kay married the noted Kilkenny hurler, John Maher, in October, 1961 and they had a family of 5 children:-
Joan, Carrie, Colm, Michael and Sean.
John Maher died in 1988.
- Carrie - was educated in the Convent of Mercy, Ballymahon. After her schooling she obtained a position in the Civil Service. She resigned to wed John Maher on 24/6/1957. They produced two children, Noreen and the second being a still-birth. Carrie died in 8/3/1960, aged 28, at the same time as her second baby. She is interred in Freshford, Co. Kilkenny.
- Noreen - was educated in the Convent of Mercy, Ballymahon. She worked for a time in Barendales Ltd. in Dublin before emigrating in 1952 to the U.S.A. with her sister, Catherine. She subsequently returned to employment in Britain. Noreen married Michael Dee and moved to Dungarvan, Co. Waterford where they raised three boys:-
Paul, Kevin and Owen.
- Colm - was educated in St. Mels College, Longford, St. Patrick's Seminary, Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow and University College, Cork graduating with a B.Sc. in Mathematics.
Colm was ordained in 1964 and worked for ten years as a missionary priest in Kenya. He resigned the priesthood in 1974 and worked in Australia, where he married Sheila Tuck.
Colm returned to Ireland in 1984 to a post as Burser in King's Hospital College in Dublin. He moved to Britain in 1987 and was employed for many years as a teacher in Manchester. He is now retired and lives in Frome. Colm and Sheila have 5 children:-
Colm, Michael, Nora, Kevin, and David.
- Beatrice - was educated in the Convent of Mercy, Ballymahon. She trained as a Student Nurse in Britain and graduated there. She subsequently worked at St. James Hospital in Dublin and married surgeon Bhagwa Goyal. She has one daughter, Joanne.
- Patricia (Patsy) - was educated in the Convent of Mercy, Ballymahon. She worked in the Civil Service but resigned to marry Donal Cronin on 14/10/1965. There were three children - the first born was a boy, Jim, who died of a brain tumour when just 9 years of age. Their two daughters are Deirdre and Roisin. Donal Cronin died on 14th. February, 1994.
Patsy died on 21/1/2005 after a courageous struggle over many years against cancer. After a moving ceremony in Mount Jerome Cemetery in Dublin, her remains were cremated.
