From the collection
The Light of The World:
A Micro Poetic Way To God

1.

A Church among trees
yew and blossoming chestnut
the plain glass windows

2.

The old water house
a swallow approaches and enters
the empty window

3.

Beside the hoarding
of a red brick house for sale
a small tree in bloom

4.

The first of August
the barley fields turning gold
trees loom from the haze

5.

A hawk in the rain
perched on a telegraph wire
the end of the day

6.

At a bleak cross roads
a rough hewn crucifix  stands
guardian of The Way

7.

Below in the woods
a small shed stacked full with logs
warmth on winter nights

8.

Sun light to a room
paying a visit   it comes
and goes in silence

9.

The child in her arms
the mother of God stands still
down through the centuries

10.

Seated in silence
a few people lost in prayer
hold the world as one

11.

The ultimate deed
of life given for love  God
in the dust of man

12.

The bright morning star
a window into heaven
opened with the dawn
