Gamblers Anonymous is a
fellowship of men and women who have joined together to do something about their own
gambling problem and to help other compulsive gamblers do the same.
The only requirement for
membership is a desire to stop gambling. As the name suggests we respect each
other's anonymity, there are no forms to fill out,
no questions asked and no personal details requested. Everyone at our
meetings is there for the same reason, we all want to quit gambling. GA is probably
the only place a compulsive gambler can talk about their gambling and never be asked
WHY ?
The Blackrock group meets every
Wednesday evening in the Cluain Mhuire Centre at the bottom of Newtownpark
Avenue between 20:00 and 21:00 and as a small group are particularly grateful for
visitors.
If you feel you may have a gambling problem then perhaps you would like to have a look at
the 20 Questions , they might be of help in helping you decide. Have a look also at our
information page, it answers some of the most frequently asked questions.
