Bouganvillea

Bouganvillea

Native to the Brazilian forests, Bouganvillea owes its name to the navigator and explorer Luis-Antoine de Bouganville, who has discovered it during one of his voyages by half 18th century. It has little oval-shaped flowers with beautiful shades between rosy-carmine and pink-lilac. Its flowering is wonderful and blossom time is very long. From June to September it has a shrub aspect and can reach 6-9 meters of tallness.
Its branches are slightly thorny.
