   Bunjin

Bunjin style owes its origins to Japanese men of letters, whose works were distant from the rules and the artistic models.
It is defined also as free style; it is essential and characterized by strong lines, a few drastically shaped branches on the top.
Although it infringes the basic principle of bonsai practice, which forbids the cross of branches, it is a very elegant style with reduced foliage.
It prefers sober aspects and thin shapes, emphasized by very low pots.
