Forsythia

Obtained in Germany in 1885 from the cross of two Chinese species, it is a deciduous flower shrub.
It usually shows rough branches (save some dwarf varieties) and it is grown mostly for its golden bell-shaped flowers at the beginning of spring.

Everyday during the vegetative season, water it less frequently in winter. Sprinkle it when the soil is moderately dry.
