       ISHIZUKI

In this style over rock, tree roots first grasp to the rock and then penetrate the soil.
To plant one or more trees over rock, you will need great ability and patience: it is necessary, in fact, to bore a little basin in the rock using a drill or a chisel, to prepare the tree supports and to place the soil-loaf, previously covered with a slurry of clay, crumbed musk and water.
The trees must be placed over the rock in a harmonious way: bonsai trees are the prevalent element of the composition, so the secondary plants must be placed in open order.
