Wild Lime

Wild lime

This deciduous tree - native to Europe, to the Kaukasian region and to Siberia - is planted in parks, gardens and along the streets. Its leaves are dark green in their upper blade and paler in the bottom. The bark is smooth and gray: as time passes it gets a dark gray colour, splits and flakes off.
