Pastor Heather Sanford

Heather and her husband, Kevin, are the pastors of Abundant Life Christian Centre in Galway, Ireland. They previously founded a missionary church in Managua, Nicaragua which is currently 600 strong.

Heather is a licensed and ordained minister. She is widely experienced and has been thoroughly trained for ministering in this generation. Women's ministry is one of her passions. She has been ministering in this area for a little over a decade.

She is adept in the medium of drama and uses many skills and diverse tools to reach our community with the love of Jesus. Heather is a pioneer in both women's and children's ministry. She is a tremendous resource of energy and inspiration in the effort to build a full-service, family-oriented church that is relevant to the hour we live in.

ecause God has a special place in his heart for his "little girls"…. Zechariah 2:8 …for he that toucheth you (daughter of Zion) toucheth the apple of his eye. In Spanish this is translated as "la nina" which means little girl. You are the apple of God's eye and NO ONE can touch you without it affecting God's heart! Women's ministry is important, it is unique and it is often overlooked.

Women's services and conferences are key. Women at times can be competitive one towards the other, constantly comparing themselves against one another. But women's ministry brings all women together, rich or poor, beautiful or plain, single or married with children, all together on equal footing for the sole purpose of worshiping our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus is the great neutralizer. When we keep our eyes on Him, He opens our eyes to see how much He loves us, how important we are, how special we are and that we can more than make it through life. We can become a success!

Most women across the world have unfulfilled dreams and hopes. They get trapped in the routine of life. Our goal, the goal of the women's ministry here at Abundant Life Christian Centre, is to draw the women into worship and into the word of God; because the more clearly they can see their Lord and Savior the more clearly they will see the plan that God has for them. Jeremiah 29:11 (NAS) For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord, `plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope. No woman should live her days and ultimately go see her Maker with dreams in her heart that she was never able to see fulfilled. Psalms 37:3-4 (NAS) Trust in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart. So it is our desire to encourage women to get out there and become who they are called to be and to do what they are called to do. Through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the support of the body of Christ, all things are possible!

Dear daughter of God,

Here at Abundant Life Christian Centre we care greatly for the unique needs of women. It is our aim to help you become who you are called to be. God has a plan and a destiny for your life. Our women's ministry is an outreach of Abundant Life Christian Centre, Galway Ireland. Abundant Life Christian Centre Galway is a full service church that ministers to the body of Christ as a whole. We have specialized ministries for children of all ages, for teenagers as well as for men and women. It is ALCC's goal to help each individual discover their full potential in Christ.
