Website Closure
	The Galway United Archive was first setup as a non-profit making, unofficial website for supporters back in August 2002. It provided a detailed, statistical history of Galway United results, tables & goalscorers. The primary aim of the website was to encourage fans back to Terryland and support the club in it's push for promotion to the Eircom Premier League. At the time, support for the club was low and it was in severe financial difficulties. The club has since taken great steps in moving forward and fans have returned to Terryland in large numbers. Thus, this website has now reached the end of it's shelf-life. Thank you to the developers of this website - Gaelic Software, Galway software developers who create custom software application for SMEs. Also, special thanks must go to the many contributors to the website over the years, without whom, it would not have been possible. In the future, the results section from this site, will be transferred to the official club website.
