The geforce ti4200 is Creative Labs version of nivida geforce4 chip set their are now about 10 to 15 company,s building for nivida each giveing different software demo,s etc.However creative labs have been one of nivida oldest partner,s which have away,s made very good board,s and alway,s give good software ie this card give,s you a detailed fold-out installation guide and CDs carrying drivers and demos, plus special editions of e-racer and Rage's Incoming Forces so all together not to bad. The card The Ti4200 carries the same set of features and innovations as its older siblings the Ti4400 and Ti4600. This includes Lightspeed Memory Architecture II, Accuview anti-aliasing and nView. It is clocked however, at a lower 250Mhz. a lot of ti4200 to come out lately have had 128mb of slower-clocked DDR (446Mhz) however Creative Labs version has 64mb @ 500mhz this wont really matter untill the like,s of ut 2003 and doom 3 come outThis card run,s just slightly (and i mean slightly)slower than it,s 128mb counterpart and even the more expensive ti4400 Overal the card is great it is fast playing the like,s of Wolfenstein and in many case,s is so close to it,s more expensive counterparts that it would be foolish to spend more money on a more expensive card and you can count on the fact that the board will last (i had my geforce2mx pci for 2 + year,s) and at about 300 euro in ireland 200 pound in england (usa??)it,s a class card
