Bandon Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber
BHOC

The picture to the left is of a
Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber in America.  The chamber in Bandon is similar to the one pictured but is smaller.

The time spent in the chamber would be 1 1/2  hours at the most.  There would be 15 minuets to get the pressure built up in the chamber and one hour breathing in 100% pure oxygen via a mask.  When the time is up it takes about 15 minuets to release the pressure from the chamber.

While in the chamber people usually read.  If you would like to have a helper in the chamber with you there would be no problem.

Question.

What is a Hyperbaric chamber?  A Hyperbaric chamber is simply a chamber that is pressured above normal.

What is Hyperbaric Oxygen?  Hyper is defined as above normal, and Baric is derived from a unit of gas or air pressure measured in bars.  Oxygen is a gaseous element essential to life.

Why enter a chamber and be pressurised to inhale 100% pure
Oxygen?  Oxygen is the antibiotic of the body because white blood cells use oxygen to kill bacteria and promote healing.  Oxygen inhaled under pressure is absorbed in high dosage in the blood plasma and carried to where it is needed for healing or recovery of dying tissue.

The Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy helps people with ME, MS,
Cebrebal palsy, Stroke victims, burn injury, skin graft healing, ulceration, recovery from surgical or other wounds and numerous other
ailments.                If you would like further information write to;
