LIEV SCHREIBER appears in a brief cameo in SCREAM, when Cotton Weary is glimpsed on a newscast. In SCREAM 2, however, Cotton is back on the street and in the thick of the action. "He's trying to put his life together," said Schreiber, "and that means revisiting some of the ghosts of Woodsboro."
