Wet was an understatement - it was the proverbial cats and dogs. My D1x got a right batism - it was soaked - like almost immersed - totally wet. I was wrapped up and still got wet through I was holding a paper tissue over the lens and just whipping it off to take a blast of shots. Normally we would have captions for all these but we did not have underwater paper or pens. My exposures were A auto with the flash set minus 2.5, ISO was 400 centre weighted. This combination did loose highlight as reported many times before.
This lad has a dripping wet Fujica - mine was as wet!!
Cork's second radio attending their first St. Patrick's Day parade.
Did they get soaked or what - it was high wind too. Fair doos. |
