Coláiste Seosaimh was set up by the Sisters of Mercy in the 1960's and has served the community well over the years. It has undergone numerous changes since it was first built. A lunchroom, woodwork room and a computer room have been built away from the original building and the original building has been extended greatly to include a home economics room, a gym and a laboratory. There are now 24 rooms in the school. This year it has 26 teachers and over 350 pupils. The principal of the school for the last two years has been Mr.Alfred Smith. |

Coláiste Seosaimh operates a 6 year course (transition Year being optional) and have modern computer, woodwork, science and gym facilities.The school is involved in sport and have excellent Football and Basketball facilities. |
