Church Accounts & Priests’ Collections:

I am issuing at the Stations a complete account of expenses and income on the Church Improvements since we began. I have kept a faithful record of weekly payments to the church and to Priests’ Collections since 1989. If anybody wants a copy of their payments I will make them available to you on request.

The Basket collections are meant for wage-earners and “passing trade” who have no family envelopes. I have no record of who pays in the baskets, obviously, except the weekly total. All I say is: there is a church debt, there is heavy interest on it,  so, please play fair! If anybody cannot afford payments I will be the first to understand. I am grateful for your generosity.
