Outings 2007:

• Friday 26th - Sunday 28th January Weekend trip to Wexford area, including the Slobs. Meet Friday evening in Wexford town.

• Sunday 11th March Archaeology in the townland of Cahermacnaghten in the Burren, Co. Clare. Leader: Liz Fitzpatrick.

• Saturday 28th April Flora and fauna of the turloughs of Co. Clare and south Co. Galway. Leader: Eugenie Regan.

• Saturday 12th May A walk through Roundstione Bog SAC to the Cormorant colony at Inishscannive. Leader: Ger O'Donnell, NPWS, Connemara National Park.

• Friday 1st - Monday 4th June Bank holiday trip to Tory Island and Glenveagh National Park, Co. Donegal, hopefully including Corncrakes and Golden Eagle! Leader: Chris Peppiatt.

• Saturday 23rd of June Invertebrates of Ballydoogan Bog, near Loughrea. Leader: Ken Bond.

• Sunday 29th of July Visit to a grazing research study site, Lough Gealáin and farm tour. Leader: Maria Long.
  Further details of each of the above outings including meeting times and locations will be circulated by email in the week prior to each outing.

• Please bring sturdy boots (or wellies if required), rain gear and a packed lunch.

• Feel free to forward the schedule to interested parties. Non-members are welcome to attend, but are encouraged to become paid members after a few outings for insurance purposes.

• On outings where numbers are limited preference will be given to members of GNFC.
